plugged in the device and again for the first 10 seconds I see video and hear audio, however once the record button is hit, only audio is heard for about another 10 seconds and the screen goes green. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software. You seem to have more knowlegde about this than the tech support for Roxio.
The computer is an e-machine with Windows 7, the VCR is Sanyo with but is about 5 years old. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, same thing. I tried moving the usb to another port, I purchased a S-Video cable, same thing.
When I pressed the record button, the playback screen turned green or black and then said no video signal. Same thing happened to me, except that I got 10 seconds of video.
